Welcome to My Requirements Definition and Management Blog

IBM Rational has recently expanded their requirements management to include requirements definition. This solution, Rational Requirements Composer 1.0 was released last November 2008. Composer is based on the jazz platform, so has all those wonderful collaboration capabilities. In addition, Composer incorporates several best practices including visual and textual requirements definition techniques, which helps achieve stakeholder consensus faster.

The IBM Rational Requirements team has worked closely with our customers to develop Composer. Through this blog, we hope to reach even more people interested in the future of requirements definition and requirements management.

We’ll use this blog as a forum to discuss various issues around our next generation requirements management solutions – and give you inside access to the engineering, product and marketing teams behind the new IBM Rational Requirements Composer, as well as Rational RequisitePro and Rational DOORS. We hope you’ll be back to share your ideas on how we can best develop IBM Rational’s Definition and Management solutions.
